Retailer Outreach: How To Use Your Prospect Data

Prospect stores are retail locations where customers in your audience shop, but your products are not available in yet so your sales team can prioritize the most valuable opportunities for your brand. Use our AI-powered Generate Intro tool to create a customized, data-packed email for each retail banner with one click to increase your sales outreach efficiency.

Since your prospect stores are defined as stores that are not included in the list of the current stores uploaded to your dashboard, we recommend ensuring your Current Stores are updated so your Prospect opportunities are as accurate as possible.

Steps:

• From your dashboard, open the Stores menu and select Prospects from the menu.

• Adjust the sliders at the top of the page. These will calculate the sales opportunity value for each prospective stockist.
  • Average case sell-through per store: On average, how many cases do you sell per month per store location based on your current sales?
  • Average SRP per case: across all of your SKUS, what is the average case price?

• Review your Top 5 Prospects:

  • 

  • Closing Confidence: Determined by the size of the retailer and number of unique customers in your audience that have indicated they shop at this banner.
  • Customers: The number of unique customers in your audience that have indicated they shop at this banner.
  • Product Requests: the total count of customer requests for your product (captured by sharing your product request form) at this banner.
  • Stores: The count of unique store locations customers in your audience have indicated they shop in.
  • Generate Intro: Our AI-powered email outreach generator that incorporates your Prospects data. Click "Open in Email Client" to edit and send the message to the buyer via your browser's default email account.

• Click on the [...] menu at the top right corner for additional actions:

  • Visualize: View the geographic distribution of the prospective locations for the banner. Hover over each location to view the store address, customer count, and product request count at that location.

  • Create Audience Segment: Save a segment of customers that shop at the banner.
    • Adjust the filters to exclude contacts based on the available parameters. Click "Save" to preserve any changes.
  • Download Stores: Download a .csv of the prospective store addresses, the customer count at each store location, and the number of product requests at that location.  
• To view all of your prospects, scroll below the Top 5 Prospects section.
